Do not use the porches as a storage facility.

Keep the ranges and ovens clean. Do not use oven cleaner on the top surface of the range. Lift up the range top and clean under it.

Do not put grease down your drains. Once it cools off, it solidifies and can cause slow drain or complete blockage. When this happens, it causes problems for the septic and sewer systems. Do not pour grease outside. If it is found to be coming from your unit, your account will be charged.

The refrigerator and freezer temperature setting should remain constant at all times. Please keep the settings/dials on the refrigerator and freezer at the proper setting. This should be the mid-range; in example 1 - 9 should be 5. If the air vents in the freezer are blocked it may prevent the freezer from defrosting properly and may cause the fan to burn up.

Keep the air return cleaned in your unit; it will reduce the amount of dust, as well as improve the efficiency of your furnace and air conditioner unit.
